Congratulations, Tyler!

When we showed up to the United States Intercollegiate Boxing Association National Championship, we learned that Tyler's opponents did not show up. He was told that he would win his weight class by forfeit and could accept his belt Sunday. With ten minutes left in registration, Tyler walked away from the check in table and started chugging water.

Why?

He didn't want to win by forfeit. He wanted to fight for his belt. Tyler knew that if he could gain enough weight in water to move up a weight class, he could earn his victory.

He made it.

And on March 18th, he won the 2018 141 pound Intercollegiate Boxing National Championship.

Tyler is a young man who has earned his success through hard work his entire life. He plans to keep it that way.

Congratulations, Tyler!
